Updated Second Life Xml Upload
Several SL Commerce Manager users recently experienced a problem when uploading large Second Life xml transaction files. While they were uploading the file, the process appeared to “time out”. While no data was lost, they’d have to retry their upload to have it complete, which is inconvenient.
I revised the upload process for Second Life xml files to use a different technology, and it appears to be working great. As an added benefit, it’s much faster than the previous process which you should notice right away. Over the next week or so, I’ll be implementing the other upload tasks (XStreet, Hippo, Apez, etc.) so that they use the same process. Let me know if you see any issues.
