New Reports – By Language
This week there are a couple of new reports: Visits by Language and Transactions By Language.
Both reports provide data on the language of the avatar that is visiting or purchasing from you, allowing you to potentially tailor your marketing messages to the native language of your key customer groups.
The data about the language comes from the SL Commerce Manager Visit Sensor (version 1.10 and higher). Unless you use the visit sensor, you won’t have any data to report. The data in the Transactions version of this report may be limited, since again, only the Visit Sensor provides language data. But if you use a Visit Sensor, you should get some data in the Transaction report if that avatar was ever tracked, even if the visit took place at a different time than the purchase.
