Data Upload Overview

Usually, SL Commerce Manager collects data from your sales and visitor activities automatically, with no additional effort on your part. However, there are some situations where you may want to upload data in order to add to the data you see in SL Commerce Manager. These examples include:

  • You've created a new SL Commerce Manager account, and you want to add data about sales that took place before your SL Commerce Manager account was created.
  • You sell goods via a service that does not support automatic data uploads to SL Commerce Manager. An example of this might be if you sell goods in Second Life through simple prim-based vendors.
  • For some reason such as unexpected system downtime, a transaction was not recorded into SL Commerce Manager and you wish to manually add it.
