Reports
SL Commerce Manager provides over 40 reports to help you manage your sales and visitor traffic. This page provides an overview of some of these reports and how you can benefit from them.
My Desktop
My Desktop provides a quick summary of your activity. You can see pie charts of your top customers, top products, top categories, and a breakdown of your sales source, such as hippoVend, XStreetSL, etc.
Like many of the reports in SL Commerce Manager you can easily change the date range for the report, showing you only the data you need.
Browse
The browse reports show you information about your products, categories, customers and visitors, as well as their transactions and visits. The browse views are all linked, so you can easily move from page to page, seeing relationships in your data. You can also fully manage your data, including deleting specific records. For example, you can delete any test transactions that you create while testing your product vendors.
In addition, you can export the browse reports to text files and Adobe Acrobat .pdf files, allowing you to import the data into your own systems.

Sales by Date
These reports allow you to interactively "drill down" into your sales by date. You start at an overview of the year. From there, you can view your sales by quarter, by month or by week. This really allows you to visualize trends, showing you where your sales are moving. You can also see whether your promotions have added to your revenue trends. Finally, you can drill down to view sales by day. Clicking on any day will show you the specific transactions that took place that day.
Top Categories
In SL Commerce Manager, you can categorize your products in groups for analysis and reporting. For example, if you sell furniture, you might create a group called "Couches" and add all of your couches to this group. Then you can compare your sales of couches to other groups such as chairs, bedding etc.
Each product can be added to one category.
Top Customers
This report shows you your top customers, over a date range that you specify. You can drill down from a customer to their transactions.
Top Products
Visualize your top-selling products. Clicking on a specific product leads to explore the transactions for that product.
Top Visitors
Shows your top visitors
Avatar View
This report provides a 360 degree view of all avatar activity. You can view visits and sales transactions on the same timeline, seeing how many visits are required before a sale takes place.
Product View
Allows you to focus on a single product, seeing all of the transactions for that product displayed on a timeline. Helpful for viewing trends, especially of your most popular products.
